• If the plectrum isn't a perfect fit:
  • Warm the plectrum in hot water, taking care not burn the skin of your hand and fingers.
  • As soon as the upper part is soft enough, it can be pushed down or pulled up to provide the perfect fit.
  • Cool the plectrum in ice water to temper the new shape and make it permanent.
