Loaded with a pair of a custom TV Jones humbuckers, this masterful D'Angelico offering serves up a wide and unique tonal range. The electronics have been carefully selected to ensure the perfect balance between airy warmth and Weir's long sought after 'clang of cold steel' and, to give the flexibility a further boost, the individual volume and push/pull tone pots give you full control over the output and even grant access to Weir's infamous 'slinky' sound.

Premium Hardware

This signature semi-hollow electric guitar has been lavished with gold-plated hardware, from the Tune-O-Matic bridge and roller saddles to the custom D'Angelico Shield tremolo tailpiece, which combine to strengthen the stability and boost the versatility, with or without vibrato. The Grover 509 Super Rotomatic locking tuners, meanwhile, fully firm up the tuning, and a full set of twenty-two, extra-durable Jescar 47/104 Nickel Silver frets and a 1.69 inch wide Graph Tech Tusq nut support clean intonation. As befits a high-end model, the Deluxe Bobby Weir 3 comes wrapped up in a deluxe hardshell case.
