General

Besides the beautiful glossy Amaretto Burst finish, what will particularly catch your eye is the versatility in sound of this D'Angelico Excel Mini DC semi-acoustic guitar. Firstly, this double cutaway semi-hollow guitar features two dynamic humbuckers, with a USA Seymour Duncan DA-59 in the neck position and a USA Seymour Duncan SH-4 at the bridge. The combination of both provides a very wide tone palette with extensive possibilities, both clean and in combination with effects such as overdrive or distortion. The semi-hollow construction with centreblock prevents feedback and creates warm lows with lots of sustain. With a volume and tone control per element (push-pull), you are in control of your sound at all times and can also make the humbuckers function (and sound) like single coil elements. The gold-tone hardware and Mother of pearl block inlays give this guitar a luxurious, vintage look.
