If you are looking for a warm sound, you usually use a wooden snare. On the contrary, if you want a bright, sharp sound you choose metal, steel or aluminium. With one snare drum, wouldn't it be much more convenient to have both options? Brass is the solution, and they know that all too well at WorldMax. This black nickel-plated Black Dawg snare has a 14-inch diameter and is 8 inches deep. So you can expect a warm, fat, clear sound and a wide vocal range. Thanks to the 2.3 mm Super Steel tensioning edges, rimclicks and rimshots come out excellently and resonance is perfectly controllable. As standard, these drums are strung with Remo UT heads: Coated as batter head and Clear as resonance head.
