General

The Focal Twin 6 is a high-end MTM-style studio monitor, meaning both built-in woofers have an easier time since their workload is shared with a tweeter dedicated to the high frequencies, resulting in an extremely detailed and transparent sound that, thanks to Focal's own, patented technology, couldn't be any clearer in the ever-important 1-to-3 kHz frequency range.

The Focus Modus of the Focal Twin 6

What's also great is that the Focal Twin 6 is basically two studio monitors wrapped up into one, courtesy of the special Focus Mode which has been developed to simulate an average Hi-Fi living room set-up so you can see how your mixes hold up in the real world. Since it's just the woofers that are active in Focus Mode, the frequency response is limited, but that's exactly what you want. Also, the Twin 6 ensures you get to keep your sweet-spot and saves you from having to invest in an extra set of monitors.
