Boasting a depth of 38Hz, and designed for serious work, the fitted woofer offers more than enough range to accommodate smaller spaces, while the overall performance of this German-made monitor hits all pro-grade marks.

Features of the HEDD Type 07 MK2

The reason for getting any studio monitors is the need to hear exactly what's happening in your audio image, without any added colour. And that's exactly why monitors get pricey, since they need to be able to tighten up the frequencies in terms of curves and phases. Loaded with a Hedd AMT ribbon tweeter as well as the woofer, you not only get an immense 38 to 40,000Hz range, but a super-tight high-end, the phase correction of a built-in Lineariser, and a bass port that can be left open or capped to close the cabinet, so the bass response can be increased or tightened at will.

Wrote the following about HEDD Type 07 MK2 Active Studio Monitor (Single Unit)

Après avoir testé beaucoup de moniteurs dans la gamme de prix mais aussi quelques 3 voies (genelec, Neumann,dynaudio..) je me suis finalement arrêté sur ces HEDD, la qualité de fabrication est très bonne, les réglages nombreux et servent tous un propos, je trouve que ces moniteurs me permettent de ne rien louper mais aussi de ne pas "sur-mixer" comme certains moniteurs qui au contraire d'être trop flatteurs, sont trop droit et on ne sent jamais quand vous les "excitez" ou pas. Le Linearizer est intéressant quand utilisé avec un sub, il y a une meilleure dissociation des fréquences. J'aimerais à l'occasion utiliser le sub de la marque.
Au final content de l'achat, en espérant qu'elles vont tenir longtemps. La marque est encore un peu jeune mais vous ne pouvez pas vraiment vous tromper, vous achetez des Adams voicées un peu différemment avec un DSP.
