A while back, Yamaha introduced a remarkable speaker at a remarkable price: the HS8. Now, the Japanese giant releases the HS8MP: a matched pair of HS8 studio monitors that feature matching serial numbers and specially-selected parts. Whether combined with a subwoofer or not, these speakers produce tight lows, clear mids and lush trebles on account of a bi-amp design that provides both the built-in woofer and the tweeter with their own amplifier module. For a clean and professional look, Yamaha have graced the HS8MP active studio monitors with a black-and-white finish.
