General

What do a bassoon, an upright bass, and a church organ all have in common? All three delve into the deepest low tones, the first two around 30 Hz, and the organ can even reach around 20 Hz! If you want to accurately mix instruments like these, it's vital to be able to hear those low tones in detail, which is what the Genelec 7360 active studio subwoofer does. This relatively unimpressive-looking cabinet delivers frequencies from 19 Hz to 150 Hz (+/- 3 dB), making it the ideal mate for the Genelec 8340 or 8350 studio monitors.

SAM - 21st Century Technology

Genelec has put quite a lot of high-tech magic into this sub. The GLM AutoCal technology, for example, analyses the acoustic characteristics of your studio space and compensates the sub's tone accordingly. It makes up the SAM technology, Smart Active Monitoring, a system that collects all your Genelec SAM monitors into one network. Using your computer, you can then adjust the properties of all the SAM monitors in your network at once (via RJ45). If you work in a project studio, then you'll want to consider investing in SAM!
