The Shure BLX Series encompasses a range of affordable and professional wireless solutions for speech, vocals and music. This particular system includes a BLX2 transmitter with an SM58 microphone capsule, plus a rack-mountable BLX4R receiver. Since this user-friendly system is able to automatically optimise the connection across the UHF frequency band, it's pretty much perfect for less tech-savvy musicians.

Shure BLX2 Transmitter With SM58 Microphone Capsule

The world-famous Shure SM58 microphone is found in countless studios, rehearsal rooms and venues. This amazingly flexible microphone does a great job at countering feedback and, here, comes attached to a BLX2 UHF transmitter for a maximum wireless range of up to 90 metres. Pop in two AA batteries and you've got up to 14 hours of performance time.

Shure BLX4R Rack-Mountable Receiver

The included receiver is the Shure BLX4R. This rack-mountable receiver comes complete with mounting hardware and features a clear LCD display that tells you all you need to know about audio and transmitter status, and has two powerful, detachable antennas. With a push of a button, Shure's QuickScan function automatically searches for an available channel, so a clean connection can be established. The output signal can be sent to a mixer with an XLR or jack cable.
