Whether you often perform on stage or spend all your time in the studio, the compact Allen & Heath ZED60-14FX provides a balanced sound, anywhere at any time. Guitarists are also catered for! Two of the eight mono channels have a Hi-Z jack input, so that guitars can be plugged in directly, without the intervention of a DI box. Moreover, these inputs reproduce the warm, refined sound of classic tube amps.

ZED60-14FX: Built-In Audio Interface and Effects

Despite its modest dimensions, the Allen & Heath ZED60-14FX PA mixer features a complete interior in the shape of a versatile USB audio interface. It allows you to effortlessly recording to a computer and playback while a keyboard or a CD or MP3 player can be connected via two stereo inputs. A powerful effects module is also provided, with no less than 16 great effects for a customised sound.

Na enkele jaren nog steeds zeer blij mee. deze is onverwoestbaar , doet wat hij moet doen , en klinkt goed.

Zeer compleet, goed gebouwd mengpaneel. Het enige wat ik af en toe mis, is een subgroep, maar voor deze prijs, mag je daar eigenlijk niet over klagen.
Geluidskwaliteit is erg goed, nauwelijks ruis. De fx unit heeft nog een apart, eigen kanaal. De fx klinken prima en zijn ook nog top op zeker hoogte instelbaar.
Met de USB aansluiting werkt 'ie ook nog eens als geluidskaart. Absoluut een aanrader als je op zoek bent naar compact mengpaneel.

Ik was op zoek naar een studio mixer die aan een aantal voorwaarden moest voldoen. Compact, minimaal 12 kanalen, USB, liefst van een A merk en voor rond het budget van EUR 400. Na wat online onderzoek ben ik op deze mixer uitgekomen omdat deze A&H het allemaal heeft!

Meeste compacte mixers hebben draaiknoppen ipv faders, maar daar heet A&H mooi op ingespeeld met deze ZED60 serie, mooie en stevig aanvoelende 60mm faders.

De knoppen op de ZED60 voelen ook prima en stevig aan en zitten op de standaard A&H manier stevig vast op de kast. Ze zitten wel wat dicht op elkaar wat het draaien wat lastiger maakt als je dikke vingers hebt.

Elk kanaal is voorzien van een PFL en een Mute knop (erg handig), dit vind je op de meeste compact mixers in deze prijsklasse niet!

De geluidskwaliteit is meer dan goed! Aan de ene kant verwacht je dit ook van A&H echter voor deze prijs is de geluidskwaliteit van de mixer wel bijzonder te noemen.

De kwaliteit van de effecten zijn goed, maar het is meer een extra feature dan een hoogwaardige effect unit, dus verwacht daar niet te veel van.

De bouwkwaliteit van de mixer is prima in orde, en qua design en lay out is het ook een mooie mixer om te zien en is zeer herkenbaar.

Bovenop alles krijg je er ook nog eens een effect unit, USB aansluiting en voldoende aansluitmogelijkheden bij voor een top prijs!
