General

This 16-channel mixing console is nice and compact, yet offers enough possibilities for serious mixing jobs. It's equipped with enough channels for helping the average band through their performances, and there are 4 auxiliaries so there's won't quickly be a shortage of monitor groups. Furthermore, the quality of this mixing board is at the calibre we've come to expect from Yamaha, namely reliable and solid.

Tight Sound with the MG16

The MG16 delivers a tight sound, thanks to its first-class components and capabilities. The D-PRE preamps are ensure a clear signal. For keeping the dynamics of enthusiastic singers under control, there are compressors available on channels 1-8. Every channel is equipped with a 3-band EQ, and the first eight channels have adjustable mids. Channels 1-8 also offer XLR/jack inputs that make it possible to connect both a jack or an XLR cable.

Mixing Console with 6 Buses

This mixing console is equipped with 6 buses divided into two groups - stereo and master bus. It's possible to send every channel to one of these buses, so you can then send them back out with a different volume. It's also possible to send a group with faders to a group, and then to send that group to the master output. This makes it possible to mix compound groups on your mixing console.

Wrote the following about Yamaha MG16 16-Channel Mixer

Echt een heel mooie mengpaneel.
Is wel zonder effecten en usb, maar je zou ook niet willen betalen voor iets wat je niet gebruikt.
Ik gebruik daarvoor andere apparatuur

Past in een 19 inch rack, en dat is erg handig want zo hoeft hij niet op je bureau te staan.
