General

With the MK2 version of the Radial Voco-Loco, you get a 2-in-1 device that acts as both a microphone preamp and an effects loop. This makes it possible to connect your microphones to various effects pedals that you could normally only use for your guitar or bass guitar. The built-in 48V phantom power supply also makes it possible to connect a wide range of microphones. Not only dynamic but also condenser microphones can therefore be used with the Voco-Loco MK2. On top of the unit you will find a 2-band EQ with which you can adjust the sound exactly to your liking. And the send/return and mix knobs give you perfect control over the balance between the effects loop and the dry signal. With the tone knob you can also adjust the sound of the effects separately, in case your effects sound too shrill.

The improved MK2 version

Radial has improved a few things with the updated version. For instance, in addition to improved sound quality and reliability, a pair of lockable XLR connectors has been added. Which ensures that you no longer have to worry about your microphone cables suddenly coming loose. And you can now also use a standard 9V to 18V power supply, handy if you run out of power unexpectedly. But have no fear: an adapter is also included with the MK2 version! The handy footswitches allow you to control it hands-free on stage. And together with the compact, sturdy housing, the Radial Voco-Loco MK2 is a reliable tool for preamplifying and adding effects to vocals, trumpet or harmonica, for example!
