Boss presents the Nextone Stage amplifier. A 40-watt transistor guitar combo with a Class AB power amplifier circuit, allowing you to choose from the four legendary guitar sounds without having to manually swap the tubes in the power amp stage every time. On the British side, you have the emulations of the EL34 and EL84 power amp tubes, whilst on the American side you naturally have the sounds of the classic 6L6 and 6V6 power stages. For smaller venues, you can halve the Nextone Stage’s power output to 20 watts. Want to play guitar at home at an even more modest volume? Then reduce the power output of this Boss amp combo a further step to 0.5 watts.

Nextone Stage: Tube Logic Tone and built-in effects

With each power amp section of this Boss, you can also choose between the two channels: clean and overdrive. This means you have the full tonal palette of the four archetypal sounds mentioned earlier at your disposal. When you select one of these sounds, you can enjoy a dynamic and rich tube sound at any volume, thanks to the specially developed Tube Logic Tone technology. With the tone and boost controls, you can also add a crunch or a sparkle. You can also further shape your sound with the built-in reverb, delay and tremolo. Want even more control over the effects? Then connect this Stage model to your computer via the USB port. With the Nextone Editor software, you can delve even deeper into the effects’ parameters and even choose from different variations. This guitar amplifier also features a mono effects loop, so you can connect your favourite external pedals as well.

With 99 setup options available, this Boss combo ensures you’re prepared for any musical situation that comes your way. When playing live, you can get the most out of the Nextone Stage using two different optional footswitches or an external expression pedal (sold separately). You can also connect an additional 8 or 16 Ohm speaker cabinet to the speaker outputs. As well as the headphone output for quiet practising late at night, the amplifier also features a line-out for recording, for example. With the 3 Air Feel settings, you can then add a wide variety of speaker cabinet and microphone simulations to your guitar sound.

Jouant principalement à la maison j'ai acheté cet ampli pour sa nouveauté et suis agréablement surpris par ses possibilités et surtout le son. Ayant déjà un marshall lampes excellent lui aussi, le nextone avec sa modélisation de lampes célèbres n'a rien à envier,il sonne comme un grand. j'aime aussi la reverb efficace et ses 40w sont amplement suffisants en clean comme en lead au moins pour les petits concerts entre amis.En public passer plutôt au 80w.Il offre aussi la possibilité de débrancher le haut parleur pour se connecter à un baffle , et offre de nombreuses possibilités. Pas de regret pour cet achat.
