If you're lucky enough to shape your on-stage guitar sound with a Roland Cube GX, Blues Cube Artist, GA-112, GA-212, Katana or Acoustic Singer amplifier, and want to take full advantage of everything your amp has to offer without having to lift a finger from your fretboard, then the comprehensive Boss GA-FC foot controller simply gives you full, hands-free control over various functions. Connect it up and switch through four channels and two FX loops, activate the reverb or boost using nothing more than your own two feet.
Additional Expression Pedal Options
Besides a bank of switches, the Boss GA-FC foot controller has been equipped with two expression pedal ports for even deeper control. Hook up an expression pedal (not included) to tweak the volume in real-time and inject swells into your repertoire, or manipulate effect parameters like a boss. Team the GA-FC up with the EV-5, FV-500L, and FV-100 Boss and Roland pedals and gain total foot-control over your amp, and if you have more than one GA amp coupled via the Link ports, then you can manage them simultaneously with just one GA-FC pedal. This considerate control system comes complete with a connecting cable.

For anyone using a compatible amp like a Katana 100 Gen3 this makes life very practical. Effective foot switching for live use of both presets and individual effects inside each preset. Superb build quality as you would expect from Boss.
Using the expression pedal sockets on it which take either simple foot switches or expression pedals, I have one simple foot switch dedicated to the solo boost function, and another to turn on the foot controller effect the current patch has. I have a cheap expression pedal plugged into the extra expression pedal socket on the amp, and this gives me wah, pitch blend or whatever I have programmed in.
This GA-FC is the heart of controlling my Katana.

Ik heb deze controller aangeschaft voor mijn Boss Acoustic LiveSinger om bij optredens de FX tijdens aankondigingen uit te kunnen schakelen en de Harmoniser in en uit te schakelen. Werkt Prima . Het enige minpunt dat ik heb .is dat de mute knop er van mij niet op had moeten zitten . De harmoniser knop zit er naast en het is mij al een paar keer voor gekomen dat bij het inschakelen van harmoniser met de voet de mute knop meegepakt wordt en de hele zaak uit gaat. En dat is live niet leuk.

Ik heb deze footcontroller aangeschaft om mijn Boss WAZA Tube Expander te kunnen aansturen. Het apparaat is zoals gewend van Boss oerdegenlijk gebouwd en de bijgeleverde kabel is ook van goede lengte. De afhandeling en versturing van Bax was zoals altijd goed en snel. Super tevreden mee.

De perfecte aanvulling voor mijn Katana 100 Mkii. Erg stevige constructie. De stikkers met gewijzigde positie van effecten zat initieel in de doos van de Katana zelf en dient eerst te worden aangebracht. Ik ben tevreden dat het schakelen tussen kanalen onmiddellijk gebeurt zonder enige onderbreking, en bij indrukken, dus niet bij loslaten. De drukknoppen lopen soepel met een zacht klikje. Pedaal was tijdig en netjes geleverd, weliswaar in een wel erg grote doos. Bax blijft in mijn top 3 qua online muziekwinkels. Groeten uit Kortrijk, België.
