Wrapped up inside this classic black cabinet, a solid 12 inch speaker delivers 65 Watts over a Clean and Drive channel, each loaded out with independent three-band EQ controls: this is the fat and flexible Laney LX65R transistor combo. Over on the Drive channel, the extra XTS switch toggles the Xtreme Tone Shaping function on and off, which boosts specific frequencies to unleash a unique guitar sound, while the built-in Reverb dips the tone in a spacious, studio-quality effect. As well as front fitted effect loop ports for integrating external stompboxes, this tight combo amplifier supplies a rear-fitted Extension Speaker output so it can be linked to an external cabinet to build a meaty stack.
