Paiste Color Sound 900 18-inch Blue Medium Crash

General

Paiste introduced the first coloured cymbals back in 1984, which quickly gained popularity after the first music video clips were shown on TV. Now, they're making their comeback in the brand's Color Sound 900 series that includes this 18-inch medium crash. It's made of Paiste's own CuSn8 Bronze (B8-bronze alloy) formula and has been hammered and aligned by hand and produces a clear sound with warm undertones. The blue coating has been applied in a very thin layer and ensures a slightly drier sound and shorter sustain but more attack than the cymbals from Paiste's uncoated 900 series. It's a versatile cymbal that's a great addition to any all-round drummer's setup!

Durable coating

Paiste spent years developing the best coating for their Color Sound Series. It needed to be thin enough so the hand-hammered patterns and grooves were still clearly visible. The colour is also extremely durable so even after intensive use, it won't scratch, get damaged, or flake off. At the end of the day, this cymbal will provide a great sound and colour for years to come!
