General
As drum kits consist of multiple drums, you will also need multiple microphones for the best result. This set consists of a PGA52 for the kick drum, a PGA57 for the snare, two PGA56s for the toms and two PGA81s for overhead use. With this set you'll get a good sound from any drum kit, and it's attractively priced too! This isn't an indication of limited quality, however, even the Shure starter series feature professional quality! The whole thing is delivered in a practical soft case for easy transportation!
Shure PGA4 drum set: compact set
With this set you can properly amplify a drum kit. These microphones are developed specifically for this purpose and are great for close-miking! The PGA52 and PGA56 feature a fast transient response, which allows for optimal reproduction of percussive sounds. With the Shure PGA57 you are getting your hands on a true all-rounder, which is fit for a snare as well as vocals and guitar amps!
