The Alliance Bros. Landreth Dave’s Bass by Duesenberg is the signature bass of Dave Landreth, bassist with The Bros. Landreth. Together with his brother Joey, he founded the band in 2011, and they went on to become a folk-rock band with a distinctive blend of Americana, blues and roots music. The band is known for their poignant songwriting and impressive guitar work! The striking semi-acoustic design, featuring a maple body and a spruce top, incorporates a sustain block and an f-hole. The neck position features a Duesenberg Alnico-Blade single-coil in a noiseless version, housed beneath a striking gold-foil cover. You get the transparency of a classic single-coil without the associated hum, with a switch on the pickguard to turn the noise-cancelling on or off. In the bridge position, the Gold-Foil single-coil under the Phonico cover provides extra clarity and a solid low end, giving the Alliance Bros. Landreth Dave’s Bass a full and compelling sound. With a separate volume control for each pickup and a shared tone control, you can mix both pickups entirely to your own taste.
