General

The EMG S is an active ceramic single-coil pickup that delivers bright, balanced and dynamic sound wiped clean of hum and other noise. Equipped with a bar magnet for extra-impacting bends, this flexible model supports a wide variety of styles and can be mounted in the bridge, middle or neck position.

The EMG S: Solderless Installation

Unlike most single coil pickups, EMG's internal shielding and low impedance preamp makes this pickup virtually noiseless while maintaining authentic single coil sound and, thanks EMG's solderless system, it's easily installed and wired up — just make sure that the pickup routing of your guitar is big enough to house it.
