The durable housing of the CV-12 microphone and capsule are made of brass, so that the wine red finish, accentuated with brushed nickel trim and grille, really stand out. Its transformer-coupled tube circuits are based on the renowned European vintage designs. The CV-12 uses high-quality metalised polypropylene condensers in the audio pad, a type that's usually used in the most high-quality microphones.
