General
Designed with the help of Black Lion Audio, the Avantone Pro CV12BLA takes things one step further than the original CV12. This ultra-versatile, large-diaphragm condenser microphone has been equipped with a 6072A valve that coats your vocals and instrument recordings in satisfying sonic warmth, and comes with a standalone power supply loaded with a pickup pattern selector so you can go from omni to cardioid to figure-of-8 as needed. The CV12BLA boasts ample headroom and a flat frequency response and features a built-in PAD and low-cut filter. In a nutshell, it basically offers the performance of a microphone twice its price.
