Product information

General

If you spot James Hetfield toting a single-cut guitar, you can bet it's his infamous Iron Cross. While ESP have released a strictly limited, and fairly pricey replica, they now drop a more affordable rendition: the ESP LTD Iron Cross. This James Hetfield Signature model features a Snow White paint job, black hardware, an Iron Cross graphic and racing stripe across the body. Based on the ESP Eclipse, this solid-bodied single-cut has an arched maple top for maximum comfort, and to complete a wood combo that delivers full and acoustic tone with more than enough bite. For enhanced sustain and resonant transfer, the mahogany neck has been set in. Further detailing includes a twenty-two-fret ebony fretboard complete with slick ESP flag-style inlays and a waving Iron Cross at the 12th position. This is the left-handed edition.

The ESP LTD Iron Cross LH: EMG James Hetfield Pups

As befits a genuine James Hetfield Signature model, the LTD Iron Cross comes equipped with a pair of EMG James Hetfield 'Het' humbuckers. These carefully voiced dual-coils shape the clarity and punch of passive pickups along with the legendary active tone that has made EMG a fan-favourite among metal guitarists. This edition of the Iron Cross also comes equipped with a set of LTD locking machine heads that support swift string changes, as well as an ultra-stable Tonepros locking bridge and tailpiece. This blistering Signature model comes complete with a matching case.
