Essentially the successor to the M5, the Line 6 HX One puts over 250 effects at your feet, all of which are powered by Helix Series processors and can be controlled with the help of a built-in Flux controller. This brand-new multi-FX unit obviously goes a few steps further than the old M5 and even lets you save two effect parameters so you can easily toggle between them, which is ideal when you want to add a wah-style effect or pitch bend to your playing at a certain interval. While the HX One has been equipped with two footswitches for toggling effects, you're also free to hook up an external expression pedal.

The HX One: Fully Adaptable

Line 6 have made sure that this extremely versatile stompbox can be powered with any standard 9V/500mAh power supply. You can even adjust the input impedance based on the output of your guitar or bass, and since it also features a flexible bypass circuit, you have the option to flip between clean true bypass or buffered DSP bypass depending on the position in your signal chain.

Loaded with more than 250 effects plus 128 preset slots, the Line 6 HX One gives you more than enough to choose from. The clear OLED display and RGB LED indicators make selecting the right effect as simple as can be, while the built-in FX loop and the troop of inputs and outputs support eased integration into any rig as well as stereo sound. You even get a USB-C port for firmware updates and use in combination with the HX One Preset Librarian, plus a set of MIDI ports for receiving PC and CC data.
