General
The G-TOUR-PB-LGW from Gator Cases consists of a pedalboard including a sturdy case. You can fit 10 to 14 effect pedals on this pedalboard, which measures 61 x 28 cm. The plywood construction and aluminium edges provide guaranteed protection. Thanks to the special 3M Dual Lock closures, installation is a piece of cake. The inside of the case features shock-absorbing foam to give your pedalboard and pedals extra protection. Cables and other accessories can be stored neatly in the bottom of the case. A handy extendable handle is provided, as well as wheels that allow you to transport this large case very easily.

Het board en de case zijn van top kwaliteit! Onverwoestbaar! Ook de'klittenband is beter (anders!) dan van andere merken.
Maar er zijn ook nadelen. Allereerst het gewicht, maar dat is logisch gezien de zware kwaliteit. De wieltjes maken dit goed, je kunt hem rollen en hoeft niet te sjouwen. Maar wat me enorm tegen viel was dat het board rondom 1 centimeter kleiner is dan de uitsparing in de case. Dus als de case een schok krijgt dan schudt het board erin als het niet voldoende klemt aan de bovenkant. De case is dus onverwoestbaar, maar als je kwetsbare pedalen hebt dan zijn ze alsnog niet veilig tenzij je de randen van de uitsparing zelf opvult. Beetje dom! Ik trek hiervoor 2 sterren af.
Voor mijn toepassing werkt het ook niet omdat het hoogste pedaal (Fractal Audio FM3) te hoog was waardoor de case niet sluit. Daar zal je bij normale pedalen geen last van hebben, maar voor mij een reden om te retourneren.
