Whilst it's quite an investment, it really is worth it.
This mic makes my vocals sound so good.
I have no regrets at all in buying this SM7 and especially this dB version with the built in preamp.
Fantastically easy to use and a very useable level of gain meaning it pairs very nicely with my Audient iD24 interface.
I did not really look at any other mics in this price range due to all the good reports I had read about this one.

I’ve been using a Sure MV7+ for podcasting which is a great mic, but the SM7dB is definitely a step up. It is more refined in the highs and lows and just adds that level of finesse to voice recordings that I was looking for.
