The black Yamaha HS7-I BK active studio monitor is the successor to the popular HS7. During the development of the HSI series, Yamaha took their customers' request for a more versatile mounting solution into account and equipped each monitor with pre-drilled mounting points and screws. This option opens up all kinds of possibilities for smaller studio and editing rooms in particular. Naturally, the HS7-I is just as functional in bigger studios and for a wide variety of other applications!
Features of the Yamaha HS7-I
The 6.5-inch woofer and matching frequency response of the HS7-I make it especially suitable for mainstream music and its 1-inch tweeter delivers an impressive 30 Hz (-10 dB) to 24 kHz (-3 dB). That's far above anything audible to the human ear! Connect the HS7I to your audio source using the XLR and jack inputs, and use the switches on the rear to adjust the tonal character of the sound according to the acoustics of the room.
