The ELX200-10P 10-inch active speaker by Electro-Voice has a 10-inch woofer to belt out those low tones and a 1-inch titanium compression driver for the highs. It's equipped with a Class-D amplifier with 1200 Watts of power and boasts an SPL of 130 dB thanks to Electro-Voice's own specially-designed signal converters.

Aangekocht ter vervanging van mijn 12" JBL speakers. Mijn missie: een krachtige, doch lichte set speakers die makkelijk te (ver)plaatsen zijn en toch nog premium ogen in mijn set-up als mobiele DJ. Even getwijfeld of 10" wel voldoende is voor bijvoorbeeld een trouwfeest, maar die blijkt ruim voldoende. Zélfs 'stand-alone' spelen ze subliem. De hoezen (die je er best wel bijneemt) zijn ook van superkwaliteit.

De Electro-Voice ELX200-10P is compact, handzaam en wat klinkt die hard en zuiver.
Ook handig dat het aangesloten kan worden op de App, wat erg goed werkt.
De box is achterop goed voorzien van aansluitingen, zodat die voor veel doeleinden geschikt is.
Het geluid is duidelijk en helder, wat je erin stopt komt er ook zo uit. Indrukwekkend!

Je zou nooit denken dat deze speaker maar een 10 is wanneer je hem zou horen zonder hem te zien. Het volume en de bas is natuurlijk niet wat je zou verwachten van de grotere modellen, maar de kwaliteit en het detail dat je kan terugvinden is niet standaard voor speakers van dit formaat. Persoonlijk vind ik een extra subwoofer een zeer goede aankoop omdat het grootste nadeel van deze speaker zonder twijfel de zwakkere bas is. Deze speaker is heel makkelijk te koppelen met andere speakers waardoor je makkelijk achteraf nog speakers kan toevoegen als dat nodig is. Door zijn klein formaat en de aanwezigheid van een stevig handvat is hij optimaal om te vervoeren.

De Electro-Voice ELX200-10P actieve luidspreker is een zeer kwalitatief product. Naast de ergonomische afmetingen en gewicht, is hij ook erg toegankelijk en makkelijk te gebruiken. Meerdere luidsprekers van de serie kunnen verbonden worden met elkaar via Bluetooth via de QuickSmart app die ook meteen aangeeft of iets moet worden aangepast.
De geluidskwaliteit is hoog, de luispreker is heel potent zowel voor lage als voor hoge tonen. Hij is bruikbaar voor een grote variëteit aan activiteiten. Ook omdat hij makkelijk en snel te installeren is en vanop een afstand te regelen is. Prijs-kwaliteit is hij zeker een aanrader, en de luidspreker is erg makkelijk te onderhouden.

Ik was op zoek naar speakers om muziek te kunnen afspelen in een feestzaaltje. Ik gebruik nu twee van deze speakers en ben daar heel tevreden over. Ze gaan meer dan luid genoeg om de hele zaal te vullen met muziek. Eén speaker zou waarschijnlijk al voldoende geweest zijn, maar met twee speakers kan ik de zaal nog meer vullen met muziek. Het geluid die ze produceren is heel mooi en zuiver van geluid. Ik ben natuurlijk geen kenner, maar voor mij klinken ze als heel dure speakers en zo voelen ze ook aan. Ze zijn van kwalitatieve materialen gemaakt en zullen dus vermoedelijk nog lang meegaan. Ik ben er heel blij mee.

Ik gebruik deze speakers nu al de voorbije vijf maanden tijdens mijn sets als DJ. De zuiverheid, de bas, en algemeen geluid is zodanig goed dat ik twijfel om nog een tweede te kopen. Laat je niet misleiden door het kleine formaat van deze speakers. Ze zijn een stuk krachtiger dan enkele speakers die dubbel zo groot zijn die ik al heb gebruikt. Naast het feit dat ze compact zijn, zitten ze ook nog eens stevig in elkaar. Ik heb hem al eens per ongeluk laten vallen van zn statief en naast een krasje is er niets van schade aan. Ze klinken nog steeds even fantastisch.

Het geluid van de ELX 200-10P is echt zeer goed en absoluut wat je ervan zou verwachten. Het kan gebruikt worden op meerdere locaties en voor meerdere doeleinden. Als je echter een feestje wil bouwen is een sub-woofer wel aangewezen omdat die toch niet sterk genoeg doorkomt naar mijn mening. Anders dan dat valt er heel weinig op aan te merken, een zeer helder en vol geluid. Het is een beetje de kleinere versie van de ZLX waardoor het een veel makkelijker bruikbare speaker is wat zeker het geval is doordat het gebruik flexibel en uitermate intuïtief is. Een speaker die binnen zijn prijsklasse een opvallende goeie speler is.

Met deze actieve luidspreker ben je zeker dat het geluid in een grotere zaal perfect overkomt tot het publiek. Je bent verzekerd van een kwalitatief professioneel product en dit is meteen te merken aan het geluid. Dit wordt niet schel en onaangenaam wanneer je richting het hoogste volume gaat, je bent verzekerd van helder en klaar geluid. Daarnaast komen de lage tonen ook erg fijn over door de woofer. Ik was ook aangenaam verrast over het gewicht van de actieve luidspreker, ik kon hem perfect zelfstandig verplaatsen en vervoeren. Ik vind hem dus erg gebruiksvriendelijk en dit maakt voor mij ook echt het verschil met andere luidsprekers!

Deze Electro Voice ELX200-10P speaker is een heel krachtige maar toch compacte speaker.
Met zijn 10 inch is deze speaker redelijk klein qua formaat, maar zijn geluid is nog steeds heel krachtig. Hij heeft met zijn actieve functie, een extra geluidsversterkingssysteem ingebouwd. Hierdoor geeft hij je muziek nog meer een boost!
Wat de omkadering en packaging betreft is de speaker heel strak en zeker geschikt om te transporteren. Aangezien hij klein is, weegt hij ook niet zo veel. Ideaal dus als je veel on the road bent als muzikant! Hiervoor zou ik ook aanraden om een extra draagtas aan te schaffen. Zo blijft de luidspreker tip-top in orde wanneer je hem niet gebruikt of transporteert.
De luidspreker is dus zeker zijn geld waard!

Deze speakers zijn enorm licht voor hun grootte. Daardoor zijn ze dus heel gemakkelijk om alleen op te tillen om op een statief te zetten bijvoorbeeld, of om ze te gaan vervoeren. Bij het vervoeren heeft de mijne wel al een krasje opgelopen. Het rooster voorraan ziet er dus wel heel goed uit, maar krast relatief gemakkelijk. Het geluid is heel erg goed, hij heeft een breed bereik van frequenties waardoor hij dus van de hoge tot de lage tonen goed klinkt. Een aparte subwoofer is hier dus niet nodig naar mijn mening, tenzij je van veel bas houdt natuurlijk. Maar het geluid is heel gebalanceerd en rijk. Eén van de betere speakers die ik al heb gehad.
