General
For quite some time, the Keith McMillen 12 Step offered the possibility of hands-free control of all kinds of MIDI stuff. After all, it was a foot controller whose functionality you could control with the accompanying software. Now that is a thing of the past, as there is the Muse Kinetics 12 Step 2! Broadly speaking, this successor is a similar product, but with some new details. For a start: USB-C, so completely up-to-date again. Furthermore, there is a 3.5 mm MIID-out, and there are 3.5 mm connectors for CV and gate. So a new and improved generation; do it!
Tips or comments about this product- Note: originally this was a product of Keith McMillen. Since Keith's death in 2024, the brand lives on under the name Muse Kinetics. Content of the product has not changed.

A solid and well constructed piece of kit. The 2nd version is a significant improvement over the first, updating and modernizing it while not losing any of the grounded utility of the original.
