What is a B-stock product?

A product becomes B-stock when it can no longer be sold as new. It can simply be a product that has been returned by a customer or it may have packaging that is damaged or missing. It’s possible that the product itself may show slight signs of use or damage too. All B-stock products are fully checked to ensure that they work properly and you can find details of why the product is a B-stock in the information above.

B-stock information

The B-stock tab on the product page shows information about the B-stock product. Be aware that this information supersedes anything you may read in the product description. The product description includes text and specifications about the product in its brand-new state. It’s possible that a B-stock item may be missing accessories mentioned in the text or specifications, for instance, but if so, this will always be mentioned in the B-stock information. B-stock products also include photos of the actual B-stock item so that you can see exactly what it looks like.

B-stock photos

The B-stock photos allow you to see the actual B-stock product you are considering purchasing. The photos show the following::

  • Photo of the brand new product
  • Photo of the B-stock product with packaging (if included) and any accessories
  • Photo showing the front of the B-stock product
  • Photo showing the back of the B-stock product
  • Photo showing any damage to the B-stock product (if applicable)

Original packaging

Packaging in good condition: undamaged (sticky tape residue may be visible)
Packaging damaged: box has dents, tears and/or holes
Packaging missing: replaced with a Bax Music box

State of product:

New: the product itself is new, but the packaging may not look new
Signs of use (no damage or scratches): smudges, fingerprints and/or dust
Scratches/damage: product has scratches and/or damage

Can I return a B-stock product?

General

Aside from their laptop, for most in-the-box-style producers, the MIDI keyboard is their most important chunk of hardware, so picking out the right model is crucial. Thankfully, Native Instruments' third-generation Kontrol line-up does away with choice overload. Designed for in-the-box production, the Kontrol S49 MK3 is perfect when it comes to controlling Kontakt libraries and not only features the latest modern perks, but a nice stack of included software. This may be the smallest of the three-part series, but is definitely no-less potent - making it ideal for more space-poor yet ambitious studios.

The Native Instruments Kontrol S49 MK3

First of all, the large, high-resolution colour display means that you're looking at an even cleaner control lay-out and fewer buttons compared to the MK2 model. The LEDs just above the keys are still there and still colour-match with Kontakt so you can quickly access key switches or certain zones. For enhanced ease, you can even assign a different colour to every key in Kontakt. The Native Instruments NKS system has also been improved and offers direct mapping for over 2,500 virtual instruments from well-known developers. Then there's the polyphonic aftertouch - a phenomenon that's thankfully becoming more common. Every key features its own controller value, giving you deep control over the sound of every individual MIDI note which is especially useful when playing strings and wind instruments. Basically, once you know what it can do, you'll never want to write, make or produce music without it again.

Tips or comments about this product

  • Please note: This model can only be powered using a USB-C adapter. When powered using a USB-A adapter, the model will not receive enough power. Investing in an adapter like this model is therefore recommended. See our bundle deals below for more options.

Native Instruments Kontrol S49 MK3 USB/MIDI Keyboard

In mijn geval cubase.

Native Instruments Kontrol S49 MK3 USB/MIDI Keyboard

Native Instruments Kontrol S49 MK3 USB/MIDI Keyboard

Ben zeer Tevreden...
Peter ...tot de volgende aankoop....

Native Instruments Kontrol S49 MK3 USB/MIDI Keyboard

Altijd een MK2 willen hebben. Niet meer te krijgen nieuw. Mk3 dan maar. Auw me portemonnee.

Native Instruments Kontrol S49 MK3 USB/MIDI Keyboard

Zeer goed midi keyboard.

Native Instruments Kontrol S49 MK3 USB/MIDI Keyboard

Native Instruments Kontrol S49 MK3 USB/MIDI Keyboard

Native Instruments Kontrol S49 MK3 USB/MIDI Keyboard

- Een USB-C naar USB-A adapter;
- Een USB-C power supply;
