This ESP LTD Alexi Laiho Signature Series model is one of the last custom guitars the late Finish guitarist from Bodom After Midnight would get to draw up. It captures not only his unique style but his immediately-recognisable sound thanks to a solid alder body loaded with a single passive EMG HZ F-H2 pickup. This ceramic high-gain humbucker ensures a bright foundation sound and a surprisingly big punch, making it an excellent choice for lower tunings such as D-standard or drop-C. As a sweet bonus, ESP LTD even include a matching V-Alexi Form Fit Case with the Alexi Hexed Signature.

The Alexi Hexed Purple Fade with Pinstripes: Fast Neck

The biggest trick this model has up its sleeve boils down to playability. Thanks to the neck-through-body construction, all of the 24 extra jumbo frets on the ebony fretboard are effortlessly accessible, while extra grip on the strings is provided between the 19th and 24th fret, since that's where the fretboard has been thoughtfully scalloped to support smooth pitch bends. The satin finish of the neck and various smaller details such as sawtooth position markers and glow-in-the-dark side-dots complete this tight-styled ode to Alexi.
