The ESP LTD Viper-256 is a double-cut electric guitar that's perfect for players looking for an attractively-priced model with modern styling. This edition of the Viper has a mahogany body and a 3-piece mahogany neck with a thin U profile, resulting in a rich-and-warm core sound that's picked up in full by two powerful ESP Designed LH-150 passive humbuckers. Finished with a stable TOM-style bridge and stopbar, the Viper-256 is simply a rock machine you can count on.

This is a very nice guitar. It plays beautifully, it's build quality is excellent and it's finish is flawless. The sound is definitely suited to heavier styles of music as it's pickups have real weight and bite, perfect for a punk guitarist like me. The single coil switching option is an interesting idea, but this thing is at its best when roaring through overdrive or distortion in humbucker mode. In short, it's a great guitar. Good service from Bax too.
