General

Built exclusively for the guitarist that can't get enough speed and power, the Sire Larry Carlton X5 electric guitar doesn't just command a pair of potent humbuckers but more-than delivers on playability. The rosewood fretboard has undergone the Edgeless treatment, rounding off and smoothing out the edges to complete a slick, played-in feel, while the heel has also been completely rounded off, easing the reach when spinning licks at the highest of the twenty-four medium jumbo frets. The addition of a Floyd Rose Special double-locking tremolo bridge is yet another solid perk, so everything from subtle to extreme note bends can be injected into your shredding repertoire and, since aesthetics have just as much meaning as the sound and feel, this edition of the X5 features a solid mahogany body finished with a stunning ash veneer - giving every example a truly unique look.
