Eastwest Hollywood Orchestra Opus Edition

The Hollywood Orchestra Opus Edition not only bundles up previously released titles like Hollywood Orchestra Brass, Strings, Woodwinds, Percussion, Solo Violin, Solo Cello and Harp, but features the new OPUS engine, which replaces the old Eastwest PLAY engine and sets you up with more functions and effects. The samples themselves have also been polished up and can now be used in different contexts (soft, classic and epic), and what's more, you're also looking at over 130GB of brand new recordings and new interfaces that change colour depending on the MOOD selected.

Hollywood Orchestrator

Also included is the Hollywood Orchestrator. This indispensable tool is great for time-constrained composers that are facing tight deadlines and lets you play simple chords based on a few additional instructions while the software musically distributes your notes among the various instruments. This is basically similar to how composers (used to) create simplified score before the orchestrator divides and writes out all the parts. For the most part, Hollywood Orchestrator essentially does that job for you.
