General
Akai's original APC Key was a superb little travel companion for Ableton-style producers. We say "was", because it's just been replaced with the upgraded model: the Akai Professional APC Key 25 MK2. While the concept remains mostly the same, this second-gen USB/MIDI keyboard comes with several improvements. For starters, the pads feature more colours and now match Ableton Live; the encoders support 360-degree rotation; and the key-bed has been upgraded as well. What's more, Akai have even beefed up the included software pack.

Het maakt het veel gemakkelijker om met Ableton te werken met een zeer goede kwaliteit en prijs. Het is een beetje moeilijk om aan de kleine toetsen te wennen als je er niet aan gewend bent.
