It's ideal for studios that need a clean sound, as it securely transfers and amplifies every detail. On the front it features an instrument input, to which guitars with a low impedance can be connected. The preamp also adds a bit of warmth to your sound to vitalise your music.
DBX 580 microphone preamp: overview
This preamp is equipped with a number of practical features that make recording easy as pie! A low-cut filter keeps plosives and any handling noise out of the recording. The 2-band EQ allows you to boost the bass and treble up to 15 dB. 48V phantom power is provided so that condenser microphones get the power they need. With a -20dB pad and a phase invertrr, you can adjust your signal, while a clear VU meter shows you how much gain you need for an optimal result.
