Fonctionne de façon très intuitive, l'interface est bien faite et les étapes sont didactiques, les instructions sont très claires et les résultats concluants. Toutefois, je trouve qu'il y a trois petits bémols...
- Tout d'abord j'ai dû faire la configuration deux fois car durant le calibrage de mes enceintes (Adam A7V) le micro n'arrivait plus à se repérer dans l'espace. Après 15 minutes, j'ai donc dû tout recommencer à zéro. Maintenant tout fonctionne, mais le preset créé engendre une diminution importante du volume de mes enceintes. Je suis donc obligé de monter le volume de monitoring à chaque fois pour compenser.
- Deuxième chose : la pince fournie avec le micro a un diamètre beaucoup trop petit, elle est donc inutilisable ce qui est étrange.
- Enfin, le son de mes enceintes a certes gagné en clarté (notamment au niveau des basses et du bas médium), mais il est devenu également bien plus équilibré... Alors d'un côté c'est bien... Mais est-ce que l'on a vraiment envie de rendre ses enceintes de monitoring plus agréables à l'écoute ? Je préfère avoir des enceintes qui sonnent moins 'hi-fi' et qui mettent en valeur les zones critiques d'écoute, plutôt que d'avoir quelque chose qui semble satisfaisant à l'oreille, mais qui risque de "cacher la misère".

Pour conclure : je recommande quand même vivement car il y a des presets pour imiter des NS10, des enceintes de voitures, des petites enceintes bluetooth, etc., et rien que ça, c'est vraiment un gain de temps énorme pour essayer d'avoir une idée du rendu de nos mixes !

Zonder hoorbare vervorming. Dankzij de kamermeting kan Sonarworks heel gericht aanpassingen doen. Je ziet goed wat je doet of probeert. Verder zijn er veel opties om profielen en type compensatie in te stellen.
