Now here is the HS3; a nearfield studio monitor with a 3.5-inch woofer and a 0.75-inch soft dome tweeter that complements the current HS series. No compromises on sound quality

Yamaha proves with this HS3 monitor set that there is no need to compromise when it comes to sound even though the space you may be in is limited. With a dynamic power of 26-watts, there is still more than enough headroom when it needs to be really loud, but especially at more accepting values, the sound is clean with a flat response. In terms of connection options, on the back of the monitors you will find XLR/TRS combo inputs as well as an RCA jack to plug into any audio interface or amplifier. Thanks to the Class D amplifier responsible for driving both speakers, savings could be made on weight and makes connecting cables easier.
