General

With this Music Producer starter set, you immediately have a complete foundation for writing, recording and honest mixing. You get 2x Yamaha HS5 bi-amped studio monitors (70 W total) with neutral, flat reproduction and Room Control/High Trim to tune them to your space. The Audient iD4 mkII delivers console quality via a top microphone preamp, high-quality conversion, a warm JFET instrument input, two headphone outputs, low latency and convenient ScrollControl; USB-C bus-powered and even iOS-ready. The Devine Mon Pads reduce resonances and help set your monitors at the right listening angle. With 2x balanced Klotz Neutrik XLR-to-jack cable (2 m) you connect everything interference-free. The Arturia MiniLab 3 makes producing fast with pads, faders, encoders, OLED display, DIN MIDI-out ánd included software.

Wrote the following about Audient iD4 mkII USB-C Audio Interface

Audient iD4 mk2 is a very well specified and robust audio interface. I am using it with an Apple MacBook and, after a slight problem in installing the optional software driver, have found it generally easy and quick to set up and use. I am still experimenting with levels, especially when mixing DAW tracks with live recording, but that is inexperience on my part. The unit itself looks very well made and I expect it to last a long time.

These are the best studio monitors you can get for the price. You will not be disappointed, they are stylish and well made, the surface finish is very good. Sound quality is perfect for small home studio, and gives a nice flat response. I would buy these again, and am considering others in the Yamaha HS range.
