The MP SL 52 trombone mouthpiece (small shank) offers a cup specifically designed to produce an especially heavy tone and is ideal for experienced players.
Standard Series
So many musicians, so many different preferences. One brass player prefers a dark, heavy sound and the other wants a flexible model for their melodic high lines, and of course there's always someone who wants the middle ground. Yamaha understands that choosing a mouthpiece is a personal process, and that's why they offer such a versatile, expansive catalogue of mouthpieces. Their assortment is divided into four series, of which the Standard series is the most affordably priced. Affordable doesn't mean less quality though, and Standard series mouthpieces are consistent in offering excellent sound, weight and performance.
