General

One of the most renowned names in the industry, RME launch the Digiface AES: a beast of an audio interface equipped with the usual monitor outputs, plus two XLR/jack combo inputs and digital ports in the form of AES, SPDIF and ADAT. Needless to say, said set-up makes expanding the preamps a breeze, and since the interface is USB-powered, it doesn't even require any bulky power adapter when you're recording on-location. RME's SteadyClock FS tech guarantees precision as well as optimum stereo imaging and separation, while the included TotalMix FX software ensures spot-on headphone mixes and grants you full control over all of your I/O. As we've come to expect of RME, both the preamps and the conversion are also more than on point.
