General
With the Boston KIT-LP-15 self-assembly kit, you can experience what it's like to assemble and finish your own instrument without the need for complicated techniques or expensive equipment. Here you will find all the parts you need to build an electric guitar with a classic single cut design. The mahogany body already has cutouts for the electronics and the neck socket, so you can get straight down to sanding, varnishing or oiling and fitting the parts. The neck is also mahogany and has a pau ferro fingerboard in which the frets are mounted ready to play. The elements (two humbucker pickups), potentiometers and all the cables and screws you need are also neatly included. This kit is the ideal stepping stone for beginning guitar builders who want to gain more insight into the construction of an instrument. Not only an educational project, but also a fun challenge, with the end result being your own personalised electric guitar.
