General
The name Aurora sounds like something meant to represent the Northern Lights. In reality, it’s simply a solid large-diaphragm condenser microphone from iCON, which does exactly what a budding or established musician needs: capturing vocals, acoustic guitar and drum overheads cleanly and clearly, without having to take out a second mortgage. It’s a lovely mic for the home musician looking for their first proper condenser microphone. Think of the singer-songwriter who wants to move on from their dynamic podcast mic to something with more detail. And think of anyone who needs a reliable main microphone for vocals or acoustic work, without having to pay the brand premium associated with the big names. It’s not a microphone that needs a big sales pitch; this mic simply does the job!
