General

The Yamaha DXR12mkII is an intelligent and extremely powerful DSP speaker that protects you from the elements and transport damage with the included Yamaha SPCVR-1201 protective case! This 12-inch active speaker is suitable for professional purposes, such as amplifying live vocals and instruments but also for monitoring sound. Thanks to the internal 48-bit DSP, high-resolution sound is reproduced with pinpoint accuracy. A hefty but highly efficient class-D amplifier results in up to 1100 W of peak power and a maximum sound pressure of up to 134 dB. The supplied protective cover is made of durable polyester and lined with a PVC coating and padding, so that the loudspeaker can be protected even in its active state!

Wrote the following about Yamaha DXR12mkII Active PA Speaker, 1100W

Powerful speakers, but great sound.
These speakers are certainly powerful, but even at low volumes the clarity of the sound is amazing. I am not even comparing them with other PA, I have a set of studio monitors and they are not that far in terms of accuracy. For this kind of power, that's awesome. The fan noise is minimal. I have tested the speakers in a small room, and while I can hear the fan, it's comparable to the computer fan. All in all, recommended.
