Ik heb de Focusrite Scarlett 18i20 Gen 4 nu een tijdje in mijn studio staan en ik ben echt onder de indruk van deze interface. Ik zocht een betrouwbare hub om een complete band en uitgebreide drumkits tegelijk op te kunnen nemen, en op dat vlak stelt dit apparaat absoluut niet teleur.

Pluspunten:De geluidskwaliteit is fantastisch. De nieuwe voorversterkers klinken ontzettend helder en hebben met 69 dB meer dan genoeg power om zelfs de meest veeleisende microfoons zonder ruis open te gooien.

De functies Auto Gain en Clip Safe zijn voor mij echte life-savers. De interface stelt de volumes binnen een paar seconden zelf perfect af en grijpt meteen in als het geluid dreigt te oversturen. Dat geeft veel rust tijdens het opnemen.
