Allen & Heath's SQ-7 is the largest in the SQ series. This digital mixer has everything your heart desires: 32 physical fader strips that you can stack in six layers up to 192, an uncluttered view thanks to the 7-inch touchscreen, 32 XLR connections and, of course, the possibility of almost infinite expansion thanks to the SLink and the I/O port for Dante, Waves and whatnot. A total of 24 softkeys let you set parameters for the selected channel in no time, if you hadn't already done so with the fixed parameters. And thanks to the SQ MixPad and SQ4You apps, you can edit even more from the screen of your tablet or smartphone.

Arsenal of possibilities

With the SQ-7 in the house, it doesn't matter what you're going to mix. Big pop stage? Great! Prayer halls? Yep! Conference with lots of speakers? Bring it on! Thanks in part to the automatic mic mixers, you actually have the right sound for your application right away. And do you need an effect that's not on your mixer as a button? Then, thanks to the XCVI FPGA Core, you can have all the DEEP plugins you can assign to all inputs. Are you specifically into in-ear systems? Then this A&H is also your best friend: 12 stereo mixes with a parametric and graphic equaliser per mix ensure that everyone on stage has the perfect sound. And for even more satisfaction, you can simply record 32x32 channels via the USB input.

With this package, you also receive the original Allen & Heath dust cover for the SQ7, the iPad / notebook holder and the M-SQ-Dante expansion card. It lets you add 512 x 512 audio channels at 48KHz, or 256 x 256 channels at 96kHz. It has two inputs, so your system with a so-called 'redundant secondary network connection' is not dependent on a single connection.
