General

The 47 is a household name, a simple two-digit number, but many a studio owner knows what they stand for. An extremely expensive vintage microphone that is currently being traded for insane amounts of money. Surely, then, the Warm Audio WA-47jr SE is a slightly better deal. Of course, this is not the original microphone, but 'tis also true that you often pay gold money for the last few percent of extra qualtieit. If you don't need those extra percentages, or you adjust the timbre by other means (outboard, plug-ins), for instance, there is absolutely nothing wrong with just going for this WA-47jr SE. A beautiful microphone with a warm sound, a character similar to that of the original legendary model, and recommended for vocals, percussion and guitars. At this price, you really shouldn't pass it up!
