The USB/MIDI keyboards of the Arturia Essential line-up are popular, very popular. After all, they have been around for a while, and in these times when developments are flying around your ears, the Essential stands proud. But Arturia never gets bored, they are and always will be busy bees. And so we have arrived at the Keylab Essential MK3 series. For those without a USB/MIDI keyboard yet, this is a wonderfully complete device, with everything you essentially need to control your DAW. You get faders, encoders, pads, a master section, pitch and modulation wheels, and the 49 keyboard keys that are enough for many.

We already mentioned controlling your DAW, but if you don't already have that DAW, well... then you get one! To be precise, this keyboard comes with the popular Ableton Live Lite; then you can immediately use the pads nicely to trigger musical clips. If you already use another DAW: you'll find that the integration from this keyboard is very good! But virtual instruments are also on offer. Analog Lab V for example; traditionally a big bin of sounds from vintage synths, but now also equipped with modern sounds, including orchestral sounds.
