Excellent value and good performance for the price. Some bump noise still gets to the microphone if you knock the stand. Also the shockmount is 5/8th inch thread and does not come with an adapter so if your stand has 3/8th inch thread, you will need to buy an adapter.

I wanted a good quality boom stand as my go to mic at the moment is an Aston Spirit and they are very heavy. I also like to sing ‘past’ a vocal microphone and not directly into it, so prefer to have it suspended from above. On regular mic stands, even if you can get them high enough, they are usually not strong enough to provide ample support. For an absolute bargain price, the quality of these stands is fantastic. I can put the mic exactly where I want and I’m confident it will stay there and don’t have to worry about it dropping, or worse, tipping over.
Only started buying from Bax quite recently, but they are quickly becoming my favourite place to find the studio quality items I need and usually at the best price. The amount of product they offer is huge and the delivery has always been lightening quick.

Good solid stands. I'm using one to hold a vocal reflector screen and mic. Much better than a conventional mic stand as the tripod legs make it more stable. I'm not using the boom on this set up.
I use another for the overheads on a drum kit.
Great for my home studio where they don't need much adjusting and are looked after. Really good value.

Excellent product exceeded expectations. Needed to get mics way above heads of a choir. Exceptionally sturdy for a brilliant price. All the tightening points/screws are very good quality giving full confidence. Not heavy to transport, pack down to a manageable size. Definitely recommend.
