Wrote the following about Blackstar POLAR-4 FET 4-Channel USB-C Audio Interface

Zo af en toe is een aankoop geen stap vooruit maar vele sprongen vooruit. De Polar 4 is zo'n aankoop. Ik was al zeer positief over de audio interface die ik hiervoor had, de Audient MK2 (thunderbolt, daarna USB-C); goede dynamiek en prima geluid. De P4 voegt nog meer dynamiek toe en veel meer detail in het geluid. Daar moet bij gezegd worden dat ik een hoog impendatie koptelefoon gebruik, welke veel meer detail laat horen dan laag imp. 2 koptelefoon poorten die apart in te stellen zijn; volume en "cue". Ook mijn monitors laten nu een veel breder klank spectrum horen. Versterker simulatie software zoals Amplitube 5 en Revalver 5 klinken realistischer door de enhance functie; meer headroom en betere response. De virtuele poorten zijn praktisch. De gratis bijgeleverde St James versterkers klinken top. Aanrader!
