General

The iCON Pro Audio Artist is the basic model in this series of USB/MIDI keyboards, and basically good as a base. But if you want a little more luxury, we'd like to point you towards this iCON Pro Audio Artist X. That X does it; for a little extra you get a lot of extra features. The left panel is also a lot more spacious, with a fully equipped transport section (DAW controls) and even a touch strip. Controlling that DAW is done using the Mackie/HUI protocol. So DAW packages like Pro Tools, Ableton Live, Logic Pro, Cubase, Studio One and others are supported. By the way, you get a DAW included even, as well as a nice collection of sounds, so you can get started on your production work right away!
